Stay tuned for the release of Ledia's debut novel...

CLARA AND I

An Albanian born interpreter gets too involved in the lives of the immigrants she works with, jeopardizing her marriage. A sheltered, second-generation American girl wants a new start in life, but challenging roommates and a troubled romance make her retreat into her shell. There are striking parallels between the two women's lives. As they struggle to find balance, the stories’ intersections also pose questions. Is the second narrative a book the interpreter has written, based on the people she knows, or a parallel universe of the life she could have led, had her mother defected from Albania and moved to America?
